Terms of Use
Draft Terms of Use
These draft terms describe the intended rules for the public mix.tools waitlist and authenticated internal Venture IDE. They should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production launch.
Last updated: 2026-06-27
Who provides the service
The service is provided by Mix Tools LLC, 4030 Wake Forest Rd Ste 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, United States. Contact hello@box.mix.tools for terms, privacy, access, correction, deletion, or consent-withdrawal requests.
Current release scope
The public site is a landing page and verified waitlist. The internal Venture IDE is available only to authenticated users with tester or administrator access. Unknown visitors and waitlist-only users are not granted public IDE access.
Accounts and access
Magic-link sign-in is intended for the person who controls the verified email address. Do not share sign-in links, attempt to access another user's account, bypass role checks, interfere with the service, or use automated systems to abuse the waitlist, admin, or tester-only surfaces.
Acceptable use and submitted content
Do not submit unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content. Do not submit confidential technical documents, trade secrets, regulated personal data, export- controlled data, protected health information, payment-card data, or sensitive project records through the public waitlist form. Internal pilot data workflows, if any, must be agreed separately.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Mix Tools LLC the limited rights needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, improve, and provide the requested service or pilot workflow.
Product boundaries
mix.tools is designed to organize evidence, assumptions, proof plans, costs, and decisions for technical projects. It does not provide legal, patentability, freedom-to-operate, investment, safety, regulatory, medical, or engineering certification advice. AI-generated or system-generated artifacts are drafts until reviewed by qualified humans under the relevant operating conditions.
The current release does not authorize autonomous laboratory, fabrication, machine, robotic, or hazardous-process control. Unsafe experiments, external communications, spending, legal conclusions, and destructive actions require explicit human approval outside the public waitlist flow.
Early access changes
The service is pre-release and may change, pause, or discontinue features, cohorts, integrations, data fields, and availability. Waitlist submission does not guarantee access, interviews, investment, partnership, or continued service availability.
Communications
Transactional emails support verification, account access, service administration, security, and waitlist status. Optional product or marketing updates require separate consent and will include a way to unsubscribe before non-transactional email is sent.
Intellectual property
Mix Tools LLC owns or licenses the service, site, software, design, names, and related materials. These terms do not grant a license to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or use Mix Tools LLC trademarks except as allowed by written permission or applicable law.
Privacy and security
The public waitlist privacy notice describes what the first release collects, why it is collected, retention expectations, processors, and request channels. Security is designed around same-origin HTTPS, restricted admin access, short-lived single-use links, redaction, and minimal collection, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Read the privacy noticeDisclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular technical, legal, commercial, safety, or investment purpose. Liability limits, exclusions, and mandatory consumer rights may vary by jurisdiction and must be finalized during legal review.
Governing law and contact
These draft terms are intended to be governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Questions or notices can be sent to Mix Tools LLC, 4030 Wake Forest Rd Ste 349, Raleigh, NC 27609, United States or hello@box.mix.tools.
